Use of Our Services

Our services are intended for licensed carriers holding their own valid MC/DOT authority, insurance, and required permits. By using our dispatch services, you confirm that you meet all legal and regulatory requirements to operate as a motor carrier in the United States.

We act as a dispatch service, not a freight broker or motor carrier. We assist in finding and negotiating loads on your behalf, but you remain solely responsible for the safe and lawful operation of your vehicle and the transportation of freight.

Carrier Responsibilities

As a carrier working with The Great Mile, you agree to:

• Maintain valid operating authority, insurance, and all required licenses
• Provide accurate information regarding your equipment and availability
• Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations
• Communicate promptly with our dispatch team regarding load status and delays
• Handle freight professionally and deliver loads as agreed

Payment Terms

Payment terms, including dispatch fees and rates, will be agreed upon between The Great Mile and the carrier prior to load booking. Any dispatch fees are calculated as a percentage of the load rate, and specific terms will be outlined separately in your carrier agreement.

Limitation of Liability

The Great Mile is not liable for any loss, damage, delay, or claim arising from freight transportation, including but not limited to cargo damage, accidents, or disputes with brokers or shippers. Carriers are responsible for maintaining appropriate insurance coverage for their operations.

We make reasonable efforts to source accurate load information but do not guarantee the accuracy of rates, freight details, or broker reliability. Carriers should independently verify load details before accepting any dispatch.

Content on this website, including text, graphics, and logos, is the property of The Great Mile and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without permission. We reserve the right to update website content at any time without notice.

Termination

The Great Mile reserves the right to suspend or terminate dispatch services with any carrier who violates these terms, provides false information, or engages in unsafe or unlawful conduct.
